Hey there, been roamin' around the forum for almost a week now, and i love how much info, and tests people on here have done, just wanted to introduce myself, as we all have a common interest.
This damn truck, that shifted my interest from a GM Man, to loving Fords, build quality, close to bullet proof drivetrain, comfort, and design!

DxbLightning was the guy with the supercharged raptor, sadly i got nothin on mine right now, but you never know what the future holds hehe..
yeah was on the other forum, but there arent any good updates, like details about the deavers, custom idea's, and the Articles base here is extremely helpful..

The Tank, Welcome to Dubai, dont know if its your first time here, but there arent a lot of raptors on the roads, the Ford dealer over here are only going to get 6.2L's (I got mine shipped from the states in October '09) you will find a lot of chevy's n gmc's.. most of them so ugly your body will invert itself inside out just so you dont stare lol ..

btw Tank, how are the hot cams on your truck, Long tubes fit easily? are you happy with what you've installed?

I hope i can be of any help over here, a couple of my friends have trucks on order, no one knows when they will arrive at the dealer, but i've been takin' my truck to its limits, and lets say, Ford has set the bar so high for offroading spec trucks

I don't have the mods installed yet. I'm going to be do that when I get back to the US. CJ Pony Parts in Harrisburg, PA is going to handle the install because they are expanding their service department to include other makes and models so there will be a detailed write up about my truck.( Yes Big J I will name drop the site.) This will be my 9th or 10th time in Dubai honestly I've lost count how many times I've been. I always have a good time there. Whenever I go through Dubai I always look for Fuelonempty's Lightning or DXBlightningboy's Raptor or Lightning. I have seen a few Vettes but no other really awesome American cars but have seen lot and lots of 911s.

Let me guess, gasoline is next to free (compared to the USA) in Dubai and there are no such things as SMOG controls?

Traptor, actually the United Arab Emirates (State of Dubai), the petrol prices are around 1.9 $ per gallon, and there is a big chance it'll go up to 2.2 $ per gallon by the end of the year, we are the closest to the international rates within the Middle East, In Saudi Arabia and Oman, prices are around a dollar or even less per gallon.. They do check for SMOG, but only on pre 2000 vehicles..
